While hiking along a trail in the Everglades National Park

near Homestead, Florida,

I came across this beautifully striped dragonfly.

I would love to visit this park again at a different time of year

to see the vast variety of wildlife that inhabits this unique and fascinating area.

Depending on the time of year you visit, 

you can see various types of migrating birds and other types of insects.
