This Friday I was so excited to check something off my bucket list. I have always dreamed about having  my work hang in a gallery for people to see  and appreciate as art. This Friday I had my chance as I attended  the opening reception of Arts By the Bay Gallery in Havre de Grace, Maryland. I am honored to say my work was accepted  by a juried gallery and I have 5 pieces hanging!

 This past week I photographed a cheerleading competition in Harford County. I absolutely love shooting action sports  and this was no exception. As a photographer, it presented challenges that kept me on my toes. The lighting in a high school gymnasium is horrid at best and with the quick movements and peppy action, stopping movement in this low light situation is not easy.
